About me

Hi, I am Md. Rifatul Islam! Welcome to My Site!

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Edge and BioMedical Intelligence (EBMI) Laboratory.
I completed my B.Sc. in Mechatronics and Industrial Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh, in 2022. Over the past five years, I have immersed myself in the fields of machine learning and deep learning. I have a strong affinity for integrating machine learning tools and techniques to solve various problems. Additionally, I always try to continually adapt to the rapid updates in AI and learn new things constantly to stay at the forefront of the field.

My research focus includes:

  • Biomedical and Edge Intelligence
  • Efficient AI
  • AI Security

You can explore the details about me throughout this website. Feel free to contact me for any kind of inquiries.
